Bring Joy to Your Web Designs with Enjoy Things Font

I was designing a new landing page for a boutique online store last week, and I needed a font that would capture the brand’s playful yet professional vibe. That’s when I stumbled upon Enjoy Things. As a web designer, finding the right typeface can make or break a layout, and this one immediately caught my eye with its quirky charm and modern appeal.

Enjoy Things is a display font that brings a sense of youth and joy to any digital design. It has a fun, hand-drawn feel with just enough structure to remain readable. The curves are soft but not overly whimsical, making it versatile for a wide range of web applications. I tested it in the hero section of the landing page, and it instantly elevated the visual hierarchy without feeling too loud or distracting.

Visual Characteristics and Digital Appeal

The personality of Enjoy Things is best described as friendly and approachable. It has a slight irregularity in the letterforms that gives it character, but it still maintains clarity even at smaller sizes. This makes it perfect for short phrases like headlines, call-to-action buttons, and logo text. I used it on a promotional banner for a product launch, and it helped draw attention while maintaining a cohesive brand identity.

One thing I appreciated was how well it paired with other fonts. When I combined Enjoy Things with a clean sans serif font like Montserrat for body copy, the contrast worked beautifully. The decorative display font added interest without overwhelming the content, which is essential for user engagement and readability.

Real-World Web Design Applications

After testing Enjoy Things across several sections of the website, I found it particularly effective in hero sections, landing page headlines, and image overlays. For instance, placing it over a vibrant background image gave the text a dynamic feel, making it stand out without needing heavy effects or filters.

I also experimented with using it on mobile screens. The font scales well, and the legibility didn’t suffer even on smaller devices. This is crucial for responsive layouts where every pixel counts. When I placed it on a CTA button, it added a touch of playfulness that aligned perfectly with the brand’s tone.

However, I noticed that Enjoy Things isn’t ideal for long paragraphs or dense blocks of text. Its decorative nature makes it more suitable for short bursts of messaging—like headlines, taglines, or feature titles. I avoided using it for navigation menus or form labels, as those require a higher level of readability and accessibility.

Readability and Accessibility Tips

When working with Enjoy Things, it’s important to consider contrast and background color. On light backgrounds, the font stands out beautifully, but on dark tones, I had to adjust the stroke weight slightly to maintain visibility. Also, ensuring sufficient line spacing and avoiding overly small text sizes helps preserve readability, especially for users with visual impairments.

For fast-loading websites, I made sure to use the webfont version of Enjoy Things and optimized the font loading strategy. Including only the necessary weights and styles helped reduce load times without sacrificing visual impact.

Font Pairing and Brand Consistency

One of the most rewarding aspects of using Enjoy Things was experimenting with font pairing. I found that combining it with a simple sans serif font created a balanced look, while pairing it with a serif font gave the design a more editorial feel. This flexibility makes it a great choice for different brand identities, from playful boutiques to professional coaching sites.

Before finalizing the font for client projects, I checked the included styles, alternates, and ligatures to ensure it met the project’s needs. The commercial licensing also gave me peace of mind knowing I could use it on online stores, landing pages, and branded assets without any legal concerns.

Enjoy Things is a versatile and charming display font that adds a unique touch to web designs. Whether you're creating a creative portfolio, an online shop, or a course sales page, this font can bring your brand’s personality to life. Just remember to use it wisely—pair it with complementary fonts, keep it readable, and let it shine where it matters most: in the headlines, banners, and visuals that capture attention and drive engagement.
